YUMMY AND TASTY CANTHARI CHICKEN

Ingredients :


Chicken -300g

Lemon juice -1/2 tbsp

Crushed Black Pepper -1/2 tsp

 

Salt -1/2 tsp


Coconut oil / Olive oil - 3 tbsp


Onion -1 medium size Canthari ( bird's eye chilli -15 

A handful of coriander leaves 

Fennel seeds -1/2 tsp

Coriander powder -1 tbsp

Garam masala powder -1/2 tsp

Turmeric powder -1/4tsp

Water -1/2 cup

Salt to taste

Few curry leaves




PROCEDURE  



 1  -  First we clean and wash the chicken and cut into small pieces.Then we take a  bowl add chicken 300g , crushed pepper -1/2tsp ,lemon juice- 1/2tbsp, salt -1/2tsp mix them well , keep it into side for half an hour .








2 -  Grind the canthari (bird's eye chilli -15),a hand of coriander leaves ,fennel seeds .







3  - Heat a Kadai with coconut/ Olive oil and add onion ,ginger/ garlic paste, cook well when the raw smell goes   


4  - Then add  crushed Canthari , cook it till get brown colour .


5  - Keep the flame in low and add spices coriander powder and Garam Masala .Saute well when the raw smell goes.


6  -And add marinade chicken and little amount of water in to the pan , cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes.  





7  - Once the chicken colour changes , add turmeric powder 1/4 tsp and salt as per your taste .


8  - Close the Kadai and cook it in low flame. Roast the chicken well with masalas .


9  - Finally sprinkle some  plenty of curry leaves/ coriander leaves . Mix well these all .






10 - Then switch off the flame and serve it with Chapati ,Paratha or Tapioca .
